The reconditioned iPhones arrive in Spain

Back Market will also sell these devices in France, Germany, Belgium and Italy with company certificate

In 2016, the number of mobile phones worldwide reached 1,510 million devices , which means for the first time exceeding the 1.5 billion smartphones sold worldwide.

"Until now it was very difficult to acquire the reconditioned iPhone from Apple from a European country, because the Cupertino company does not sell its phones 'refurbished' on its website for our continent," says Thibaud de Larauze, CEO of Back Market.

From the next weeks, the French Back Market will commercialize these devices with certificate of the giant of Cupertino.

More and more manufacturers and technology companies are betting on the market of 'refurbished' (reconditioned) to give a second life to their products . "The fact that large manufacturers enter the refurbished products market is good news for everyone and demonstrates the importance of this sector for the entire technology industry," says the CEO of Back Market.

These devices pass the same quality controls and have the same warranty period as new iPhone . In addition, if the user detected a problem on the phone can take it to any App Store to repair it or change it for another.

The only difference of these terminals compared to a new one is in the price, and they represent savings of up to 30% . During the process of reconditioning the iPhone, Apple changes the battery, the screen and the case and package it inside the original box, along with the manual and accessories.
