While traditional security systems are often unaffordable, these applications are often free or available for a low price. Álvarez points out: "Like the classic recording systems, they are able to detect movement and send notification when this happens, so they are not only useful for controlling homes and establishments, but also monitor babies, children and children. old people".

Another of the solutions available in the market are the monitoring cameras. In the same way that the applications, they allow to know from the smartphone, through an Internet connection and in real time, what happens inside a house or a business.

They are economic systems based on IP cameras of simple installation and without monthly fees, which can notify the owner of the property and send photographs or videos by email in the event that unwanted movements or sounds are detected in your home. In addition, you can control the parameters of the camera, such as zoom, brightness or sound and take pictures that will be stored directly on the device.
