Samsung and Foxconn join Intel to push a new technology without wires

A single touch. This is the new technology that has been put to work Samsung and Foxconn to be able to transmit large amounts of information avoiding the wifi and enhancing the connection without cables.

The name of this adventure is Kiss, which was born at the end of 2014 when its 'parents', the company Keyssa announced the creation of a wireless system capable of transferring in a few seconds information only with the touch of the two devices.

With the help of a small connector, with a coverage of one centimeter away, they promise, according to their first tests with computers, to exchange data of up to 5 Gbps, although they point out that those figures will be higher in mobile devices.

Its irruption in the technological circles was at the end of 2014 and its appearance in the market was scheduled for 2016. Date that has not met and seems to have no official launch, although Keyssa claims to have a total of 250 patents of this technology.

Now with the emergence of Samsung and Foxconn, Kiss's parents are once again hoping to integrate their technology into mobile devices and stand up to NFC and Wi-Fi systems.

In 2016, Intel already announced its intention to incorporate this technology into its chips to allow the connection between technological devices, however the attempt did not materialize in the market.
