Facebook launches Marketplace, its own sales space

The social network Facebook launches in Spain and other sixteen European countries Marketplace, a space within its platform that allows users to buy and sell products with other members of the network , announced today, the company.
To buy or sell items through the Marketplace, users have to take a photo of the item, enter a description and a price and confirm its location. From that moment, other users can see the article, make offers and agree on a payment and delivery.
According to the company statement directed by Mark Zuckerberg, the platform does not offer payment methods for the products that are offered in the Marketplace. The platform allows the search of products through categories (electronics, home and garden, or clothing and accessories) and filter the results by location, category and price.
In addition to Spain, Facebook now launches this application in Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Norway, Portugal, Sweden, Switzerland and the Netherlands, and is available since November of the year passed in the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia and New Zealand.
